The Bali Affair.

I just came back from a fun-filled, relaxing time in Bali with the family and our closest friends with their respective families. It was a short 4 days 3 nights stay at Villa Arika, located in Canggu , in the village of Pererenan. Villa Arika, a private four bedroom holiday villa by the beach (with beautiful sunsets in the evening), with a medium size swimming pool that is just nice to accommodate 3 small families, a lush tropical garden that is well taken care of, you can’t help but feel like you’re holidaying in Eden.  As it was just our friends and us staying there, we were free to be as loud as we want as there’s nobody else to be bothered by us. (And loud we definitely were. :D)

As this was our second trip to Bali, (the first was in 2008), we skipped all the sightseeing activities and just spent our days lazing by the pool that overlooks the sea, while enjoying the traditional Balinese massage. With the fully trained in house chef that can whip up any dish our heart desires, (from the yummy pizzas to the so delicious “soto ayam”) there was no reason for us to leave the villa at all. We only left the Villa twice during our stay there. One was when we went out for dinner to Jimbaran (famous for seafood) on our first night in Bali and the second time was on the 3^rd day in Bali, where we went out for lunch at a  local restaurant.(I can’t seem to remember the name of the restaurant, though.)

I don't think I'll ever get tired of Bali. It's such a beautiful place to be with your loved ones. In fact, Hubby already contemplating on making another trip to Bali. With so many budget airlines with routes to Bali, it is affordable for everyone.
